- Estudio de los efectos de los xenobióticos sobre la respuesta inmune, mecanismos moleculares del efecto tóxico y sus consecuencias sobre la salud.
- Respuesta inflamatoria y su papel en el desarrollo de cáncer, alteraciones del neurodesarrollo y enfermedades cardiovasculares, entre otras.
Proyectos relevantes
1. Efectos ex vivo, y mecanismos moleculares de toxicidad del p,p´DDE en macrófagos de humanos.
2. Mecanismos moleculares de toxicidad del p,p´DDE y plomo en macrófagos derivados de médula ósea de ratón.
3. Efecto de la exposición a Hg y Pb, por separado y en mezclas, sobre procesos celulares relevantes en el neurodesarrollo.
4. Capacidad proinflamatoria de xenobióticos con efectos en el neurodesarrollo: mecanismos de neurotoxicidad asociados a mediadores inflamatorios.
